George is an Elder who retired from the North Texas Conference in 2014 after 40 years of service. After retiring he served as a consutlant and coach for the Healthy Church Initiative in the North Texas, Texas, Central Texas, and NW Texas/New Mexico Conferences. George was the HCI lead consultant for Wesley UMC.

George and Kay have 5 adult married children and 10 grandchildren with another one due in September.
