Help Cornerstone create face masks for people in our community.

CDC has recently recommended face masks for ALL people who are out running essential errands. The problem is that these masks are not readily available for purchase and may be difficult for some people to acquire. Cornerstone is asking all of its members who are able to help us make face masks for our community.

Our goal is to have as many masks available (free of charge, of course!) as we can make for our neighbors in need. If you would like to help us make masks below are some links to help you do so. One of these links will even show you how you can make masks from things you may already have at home.

Here is what we need you to do:

  1. Donate or make as many masks as you are able to do so. Here are some videos on how to: (Instructional video for sewing the Olson mask COVID-19, Fabric Patch – DIY Masks, How to make your own face mask without a sewing machine, PATTERNS: 1, 2 )
  2. Place EACH individual mask in a ziplock baggie.
  3. Drop off your masks at Cornerstone. Beginning April 12th there will be a big plastic bin in front Fellowship area doors. Place your masks in the bin and email Pastor Chuck ([email protected]) that you have dropped of masks and how many you made.

If you are in need of a face mask, email Pastor Chuck at [email protected] and as soon as they are available, he will have someone drop them off at your door or arrange a pickup at the church.
